> Consulting

ABR also communicates with its customers and business partners in the form of consultations. These are generally recommendations that are derived from in-depth evaluations of results from previously conducted testing activities. Consultations can also be held about strategic decisions regarding the deployment and use of energy storage systems, as well as to assess and evaluate development trends.

> Devices + processes

ABR's business area with regard to the sale of devices and processes developed in-house includes the following products:

Battery test systems and test equipment:

  • electrical and electromechanical test equipment
  • operating software for electrical and electromechanical test equipment
  • thermal conditioning units

Formation rectifier

  • electrical rectifier systems for use in battery production (formation)

accureg®

  • fully automatic battery testing and condition improvement device

ABR storage “Energy 3000 Powerstation”

  • innovative stationary storage system

Pulse formation

  • Development of a high-performance system for generating high-energy pulses in the microsecond range

StratEx® and StratEx Plus®

  • StratEx®: cell-based stripping process that is applied to multi-cell batteries (especially 12V starter batteries) using electronics (multiplexer)

  • StratEx Plus®: dynamic charging process that influences the location of the reaction on the electrode of lead-acid batteries by changing the shape and frequency of the charging signal.

Testing and condition assessment procedures for lead-acid batteries

  • An electrical test procedure for lead-acid batteries based on the “black box” principle, which provides a qualified and correct assessment of the battery condition by evaluating electrical impulses previously applied in test sequences using databases.

Charge balance assistant

  • Multi-battery system, which enables a controlled equalization charge of the main battery (12/24V starter battery) by quickly charging an auxiliary battery.

Cell material characterization using “functional matrix”

  • Procedures for the defined rapid characterization of different cell materials (primarily lithium-based technologies), using selected short test procedures and their evaluations in a “functional matrix”.
